Sue-ellen Blomfield
Chief Executive Officer
With over 20 years experience in senior health executive roles in both the public and private sectors, Sue-ellen is noted for her strong leadership, team-building and motivational skills. After joining Healthe Care in February 2015 as Director of Clinical Services at Maitland Private Hospital, Sue-ellen’s contributions were pivotal to the facility's expansion and the establishment of its rehabilitation services, additional theatres and day surgery unit. Her strong clinical background and fiscal management capabilities were formally recognised in August 2016, when she was appointed Chief Executive Officer.
With extensive experience in executive clinical leadership, implementing person-centred frameworks, change management, workforce planning and brownfield development, Sue-ellen is renowned for her insight, tenacity and ability to harness the energy of teams to create positive and productive work environments for all stakeholders.
Sue-ellen holds an Associate Diploma of Applied Science, Bachelor of Nursing and Post Graduate Diploma of Health Administration.

Elise Roulstone
Commercial Manager
Elise was appointed to the role of finance manager at Healthe Care Community in November 2016. Her title was changed to commercial manager in April 2018 to better reflect the nature of the role.
Prior to commencing at Healthe Care Elise worked in the not-for-profit sector as a finance manager, as a chief financial officer in the for-profit sector and earlier in her career in administrative, management and academic roles at The University of Newcastle.
Elise holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and is a Certified Practicing Accountant.
Andy Fullerton
Business Analyst
Andy has over twenty years working within the Aged Care industry. His experience covers Residential, Home Care and NDIS management roles and IT support. He has a passion for using technology to improve all stakeholders’ roles within the industry and has been involved in IT for most of those 20 years.
Andy commenced with Hunter Nursing in December 2020 as a Business Analysis assisting the team with information technology applications, data management, report writing and general IT related functions.
Maria Gorton
Quality Risk and Compliance Manager
Maria is a registered nurse with over 30 years of clinical experience across both the public and private sectors in acute and community. Maria has worked with Healthe Care for over 15 years in a range of roles including CNC Infection Control and NUM relief.
Maria is passionate about education and also works as a trainer and assessor across VET and aged care sectors.
